The Story of the Jeanie Johnston
The original oil painting was acquired by the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ireland, researched and painted by Val Byrne. It now hangs in the Irish Ambassadors residence in Ottawa, Canada. The ship itself is now permanently moored on the River Liffey as a tourist attraction by the Dublin Port Authority.
